About

How many of you grew up hearing “You should do (insert activity) like a Good Indian Girl.”  For most of us, we were more interested in reading, playing sports or rocking out at a concert, than training ourselves to be “Good Indian Girls.”

But perhaps, now you might be a little more interested in doing some of the things that your mom or aunties tried to teach you growing up.  I love chai, but have no idea how to make it.  I actually do think sari’s look really pretty, but haven’t a clue on how to put one on.

So since we’re suposedly supposed to be self-sufficient by now, Good Indian Girl is here to help you how to learn to do some of these things.  We will provide the lazy way (we know you have other things to do) and the proper way – the choice is yours!

Also, coming soon will be the Good Indian Girl kit, which will include all the tools and utensils you will need to make a full Indian meal (yes, you can do it!), not to mention a hip Good Indian Girl t-shirt.  If you are interested in giving yourself the gift of learning how to cook with all the appropriate material, please email me at simocrates@gmail.com to place your order!  These make really fun presents also!

Also, if you have feedback or how-to ideas of your own, please email me at simocrates@gmail.com and we will do our best to get them posted.

Sincerely,

Good Indian Girl
